"Game changer! No more "momma I'm bored""
Let's be honest. It's so hard to be able to financially afford to be able to get out and do anything these days. At least for my family of 5 it is. Having a Get Out membership has been a game changer for us! I have found the app easy to use, plenty of venues near me to go to, and has saved us tons of $$$$! I love that we have a whole year to go to different venues in our city.

I tried setting up an account on getout.com, and it was annoying, annoying right from the start. The signup page kept freezing, then it told me my email was already used even though I’ve never made an account there before.
I tried the password reset too, but the email didn’t show up for a long time. When it finally finally came through, the link didn’t even work. I ended up giving up after wasting about 30 minutes, so yeah, not a great first impression.

The one thing I’ll give them is that they cover most of the places near me. I’ve had issues with other services barely showing anything close by, so it’s a relief not having to scroll forever just to find a usable location.

I booked through getout.com and the partner venue accepted it without any hassle, which I was really happy about. I did have to show the email twice, but it wasn’t a big deal in the end. Overall, I felt satisfied with the deal and the experience. I just wish the instructions had been a little clearer.

I had a really frustrating time trying to redeem my ticket. Every time I thought I’d done what they asked, there seemed to be some new step or different requirement, like the goalposts kept moving. Support took too long to get back to me, and by the time anything was close to being sorted, it was basically too late. the whole thing felt like a waste of time, and I wouldn’t bother using it again

I had a good experience overall, though the wait was a little longer than I expected and the crowd got a bit annoying at times. Still, it wasn’t a dealbreaker for me. I’d say it’s worth checking out if you don’t mind being patient and going when it’s not too busy.

I didn’t get many updates from them, and when notifications did come through, they were usually way too late. It’s frustrating when plans change at the last minute and you’re left scrambling, not exactly ideal, especially when you’re trying to stay organized

The site did work in the end, but booking took way too many steps. It kept making me go back and recheck things I had already looked at, which got frustrating fast. Whoever runs this really needs to simplify the process...

I signed up for getout.com thinking I had a clear idea of what I was going to pay, but then I got charged more than I expected. The billing details felt buried and weren’t explained clearly before checkout, so I had to click around and dig through stuff just to figure out what happened. I reached out to support too, but the replies felt like copy-paste answers that didn’t really address my actual question, which made it even more frustrating. "Good at first, but the renewal process frustrated me"
I actually liked using getout.com in the beginning, but the subscription renewal part really annoyed me. From my side, I didn’t feel like I got a clear enough reminder before it renewed, and trying to find where to cancel or change my plan took way longer than it should have. Maybe the option was there somewhere, but it definitely wasn’t obvious to me. Support did eventually reply, but it felt a bit slow, and I had to explain the same issue twice, which got frustrating. It’s not the worst service I’ve used, but if you’re someone like me who doesn’t want auto-renewal to be a hassle, it could be a lot smoother.

"Still Not Sure What’s Going On With My Refund"
I booked through Getout and ended up needing to cancel. They told me the refund would only take a few days, but it’s been weeks now and I don’t understand what the delay is. Every time I ask, I get what feels like the same copy-paste response with no clear answer or actual update. It’s really frustrating and confusing, and at this point I don’t think I’d use them again. The refund process has been bad.

"App keeps freezing and support wasn’t much help"
The mobile app freezes a lot, and my booking details took forever to load when I needed them. It does work sometimes, but it’s really frustrating because you never know when it’s going to hang. I also tried getting help, but support just kept sending me in circles with the same basic suggestions, so it felt like I was stuck in a loop instead of actually getting the issue fixed...

"Pretty smooth support experience"
I had a small issue with my booking, so I messaged support and thought it would take forever?? But they got back to me faster than I expected and fixed it without too much back and forth. I did have to explain the problem twice, which was a little annoying, so I’m not giving 5 stars. Overall though, it was fine and handled well.

"Decent, but not a site I’d rely on"
I’ve checked getout a handful of times, mostly hoping to stumble on a deal that made a trip feel a little more doable. the offers were average. A few prices looked about the same as other sites, and once fees were added, some were actually worse. It wasn’t a bad experience or anything, but it also didn’t feel like it saved me time or money in a meaningful way. For me, it’s probably something I’d only check if I was already comparing options, not a go-to site.

I booked a place through getout for a quick trip, and the listing was accurate. The photos matched the space, the location was right, and most of the details were clear. There was one amenity listed that wasn’t actually there, which wasn’t a huge issue for us, but when I tried to get some clarification it kind of felt like I was being ignored. Still, the booking itself felt reliable, and I’d probably use the site again...

I wanted to like getout.com, like I said, the idea is really good, but the venue options around me were limited. I’d find something that looked promising, and then there’d either be no real availability or only random weird times that didn’t work. The actual booking part was fine, but like I said, it gets frustrating when you can’t find a decent slot. Hopefully they add more places soon...

"Pretty easy to use, but a little clunky"
I tried using Getout to browse around, and overall it worked well. The pages loaded fine, and I was able to find the basic info I needed without much hassle. Some parts were a little confusing though, especially the filters and going back to the results page. Not sure how to explain it, but it just felt like the site could be a bit smoother. Nothing major, just a few things that could be easier to use
